Meet Ellen

Ellen has spent more than four decades at the intersection of nutrition, wellness, and product innovation.

Her career began at Sandoz Nutrition, where she specialized in enteral nutrition and educated physicians, surgeons, and nurses as the company’s New York District Sales Manager.

After a life-threatening accident inspired her to explore the role of nutrient-dense foods in recovery, Ellen founded The Organic Frog, Inc. in 1994. Its flagship product, Greens Today®, was an innovative 72-ingredient superfood formula. She led the company for a decade before selling it to Nature’s Answer in a multimillion-dollar acquisition.

In 2015, Ellen launched All Cracked Up: an organic snack made from fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts and gently dehydrated at a low temperature. Now, she has reimagined the cracker with added organic plant-based protein—creating a distinctive, nutrient-focused snack for today’s health-conscious consumer.

Ellen’s expertise spans nutritional product formulation, food and supplement choices, cognitive wellness, mental health advocacy, dog nutrition, and practical ways to reduce exposure to microplastics in food, clothing, and personal-care products.

Her work is also deeply personal. Ellen has navigated bipolar I disorder, complex PTSD, significant genetic risk factors associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and multiple life-threatening accidents. A single mother, lifelong student of Kabbalah, business owner, and devoted companion to Willow—her psychiatric service dog—she brings resilience, curiosity, and compassion to everything she creates.

At the heart of Ellen’s work is a simple purpose: to use what she has learned to help others live healthier, more empowered lives.
